When I joined Spear, the more time I spent, the more I became impressed with this PG. I was once a Colonia Marine, commissioned in the Colonia Miitia in the Summer of 2016, part of the CCN (Colonia Citizen's Network), when and where I first got 'blooded' in my PVP baptism of fire by killing a couple of low-calibre gankers, and enjoying it immensely. Sadly, shortly after, the CCN was ruined from within by some new, hyper-political, arrogant admins who thought it would be cool to actually allow gankers into that Discord, causing untold strife and toxicity within. I left that toxic shitshow in total disgust just over a year later, and had since despaired of finding a specialized, serious, hard-core counter-ganker PG for a LONG time ever since.......then I found Spear, and rejoiced.

after 800 hours of pve content got bored. I often watched pvp videos and then i knew what i'm gone do, join pvp! i was invited to a discord called engineers space pub and got asked a question: bad or ugly and after it was explained i IMMEDIATELY said ugly (because thats the lawfull side) i could never shoot traders or explorers and then i joined spear and never regretted my decision.

It was coincidence, that I met Akuma and Spear while doing some System Protection in Eravate with some friends without real organization. Spear gave me new game content as I was a little bored after reaching all my personal goals in the game. Now I really live and love the lawful role all over the bubble. Plus I met a lot of similar minded friends. o7

I am the Wing Commander of a Powerplay PMF, pledged to Aisling Duval and always ready to stand up for the weak and beginners of this wonderful space simulation. I met Akuma Tebori while I organized an event to free Deciat from gankers and griefers. I love the open game and our work at SPEAR is giving more Cmdr‘s the opportunity to enjoy an open multiplayer game without fear.

I've been playing Elite Dangerous since 2014 and I've done pretty much everything in PvE and still love to do it. ED is one of those games that I never get bored with. At some point I had the time to get involved with PvP. What I had to realize was that there were rough manners in the PvP area of Elite and unfortunately still exist, which I do not call good. Here I got to know Akuma and supported him wherever I could. In all projects before SPEAR I was more or less involved. Now you can see the success with SPEAR. Outside of the game you don't have to insult or attack others. What happens in that game should stay there. That's what I fight for and that's what SPEAR stands for. Fair manners between players of different colours (law enforcement officers and criminals ingame) who have fun together without insults. Ingame is my commander right and law associated. There was nothing more obvious than to dedicate oneself to the protection of the commander in Open play.

After witnessing ganking on an industrial scale on a well known ganker's Twitch stream during Distant Worlds 2, I wanted to try and get into counter-ganking operations, especially as I was apparently a target myself. I was introduced to Spear by a fellow Distant Worlds 2 veteran and eventually joined the group. I have found the people of Spear very helpful with advice about builds and tactics and I feel that I am already part of the team in their fight against villainy.

For me it was always clear: I am on the side of the law! Everything else is no fun for me and the way Elite Dangerous is structured, all other ways are much too easy for me. So when I entered PvP, I was mostly alone and had to defend myself against several outlaws. Even if we flew in the wing: The outlaws were somehow always in the majority. When Akuma Tebori asked me if I would like to work with Cmdr. Sister Kate, Firefox[51th] and him to build a community whose goal is to break the dominance of outlaws in the open and make this game mode interesting for PvE players again while improving the PvP experience for all PvP enforcers, I was immediately thrilled. Meanwhile, we're a fixture in ED-PvP and have earned the hate of many toxic outlaws as well as the recognition of many friendly outlaws. And it's an irony of fate that those who always attacked us in overwhelming numbers now accuse us of exactly this. As long as that's the case, we're obviously doing quite a bit right!

Why I joined Spear? It's easy to answer. Protect miners, explorer, trader and Cmdr's they want to engeneer their ships. It makes the open safer. It's not funny or honorably to shoot them down. This behavior could be the death of the open and I don't want this development!

After coming from the console universe, I contacted some others spanish commanders who were tired of people who enjoyed destroying factions and commander for sport, joined together and started to deliver justice and peace into the spanish community. Some time after I knew other commanders from differented countrys, and since then me and my comrades from ESCA have trying to punish gankers and outlaws in all hotspots in the gallaxy

The Winged Hussars are not very PvP oriented, so when our space was attacked by band of gankers there was a rally of commanders and we faced the threat. That led to battle after which mutual respect was created. After that I’ve created PvP wing in TWH and started to look for a contact to lawful organizations across the Bubble. That is how I’ve encountered SPEAR and joined it with some others TWH pilots. As SPEAR enforcers we can boost our skill thanks to almost everyday encounters with griefers and gankers and protect other commanders.

I made the choice a long time ago to do my best to take the fight to the outlaws, winging up with like minded Cmdrs in SPEAR means that I am no longer alone in this fight and am not always outnumbered and outgunned. As an independant pilot I am proud to wear the SPEAR tag.

Myself and my group Warriors of Wyrd have been supporters of The SPEAR initiative since it's inception. From the word go it was dedicated to offering real-time anti-griefer defence at CG and Engineer systems. The communication network and co-ordination grew rapidly. The SPEAR coalition of pilots and groups represent the best that is Elite Dangerous's lawful community. I am proud to be among their number. We keep the space lanes clear, so that traders and beginners can enjoy a safer passage to their destination, with honour and respect for our enemy. Fly safe commanders.
